AFL Live Premiership Edition

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

AFL Live Premiership Edition is a video game for the Playstation 2 and Xbox and was released in 2004. It is an update on AFL Live 2004 which includes updated player rosters and video content.

The game was developed by IR Gurus. It is considered by many to be the worst Australian rules football game to date. IR Gurus removed many popular features of the 2004 edition and failed to successfully replace them. The realism and variety in kicking options was removed, as was the marking contest (catching). IR Gurus either did not sufficiently test this game or released it knowing it was virtually unplayable.
