[edit] Hero Angeles
hello! Is there anthing else that you can say about this person? Now that I know that he's real, I'm not complaining about the existence of the article, but be aware that there are many users who spend much of their time voting for the deletion of articles about anyone they haven't heard of... The more information (and justification of his appearance here) that you can add, the better chance that the article will survive. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 12:56, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Conas atá tú?
Hi, I noticed that you know Gaeilge(Irish), their is an Irish wikipedia here: ga:, why not come on and help us expand? At the moment we have 778 articles, but we're hoping to reach 1,000 soon and we could use your help. Don't worry about the standard of your Irish, there's plenty of people around to correct it for you. Come and join us and create an account. If you need an English-Irish Dictionary, there's a good one at www.englishirishdictionary.com, check it out. Bí linn. ga: - Dalta 21:45, 27 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Tagalog help?
Hi! I cleaned up a very messy article on a topic that I really don't know much about. Could you take a quick peek at it for me? It's ACQ-Kingdom Broadcasting Network, an article on the media network of a Davao televangelist. The main thing I want to be sure of is that TAHANAN SA KAHARIAN and BATANG KAHARIAN are really Tagalog program titles. Thanks, --William Pietri 03:25, 12 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Csbldg.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Csbldg.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] License tagging for Image:Star academy countries1.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Star academy countries1.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] UAAP Season 69, etc.
I'm wondering what name we should use (esp. in brackets), is it "State" and "Santo Tomas" or "UP" and "UST"? What do you think? --Howard the Duck 10:59, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oh I think, it's better to use "UP" and "UST". Aeron Valderrama 09:28, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to the Chemicals WikiProject!
Hi Aeron! Thanks for signing up at WP:Chem. You look to have a good range of languages, that could be pretty useful round here. The chemists here are generally a friendly bunch, so I hope you'll enjoy working with us. Some useful pages to look at:
- Portal:Chemistry
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemicals/Organization (our worklist - pick a compound and improve it!)
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemicals/Style guidelines (incomplete, but v. useful as far as it goes)
Feel free to ask me or others for help. Cheers, Walkerma 06:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Csbldg.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Csbldg.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Edward 13:26, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pictogram
Hi, Aeron. For now my goal is to create pictograms for all the current and past Olympic summer and winter sports. After that i will carry with others as i feel the need to. I've been already asked about chess and other non-Olympic sports icons, so that'll be my next objective, don't worry ;) As for softball, there is one already (not much different from baseball, only with a smaller bat). Take care. Parutakupiu talk || contribs 20:02, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copy-pasting
Instead of copy-pasting, i'd recommend to use the move button. It disrupts the edit history of the article. Also, I've made it small caps since the title is not a proper noun. --Howard the Duck 06:59, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Park Tae-Hwan 1500free06ASiadsolo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Park Tae-Hwan 1500free06ASiadsolo.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 10:50, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tarasialogo.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Tarasialogo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] User:Aeron Valderrama/PEx Fantasy Amazing Race 3
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article User:Aeron Valderrama/PEx Fantasy Amazing Race 3, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
