[edit] How is this capitalized?

The note says that the correct title is "aeroperu", yet the name is then rendered as "Aeroperu" or "AeroPeru" in the text. The only place where "aeropero" appears is in description of the livery. It's is quite possible that the lowercase "a" was only used in the logotype. Many companies use all caps in their logotype (eg, Unisys), but that doesn't make the name all caps. The same logic applies where the name is all lowercase. Sometimes the odd typography extends past the logotype (Gulf + Western should nto be written with an ampersand), but that's the exception. I asume the correct name is "Aeroperu" or "AeroPeru". Perhaps either is correct (Microsoft used "MicroSoft" early in it's history), but the article should use only one. I don't know what is correct, but it no one else figures this one out, I may make a guess and go with it.-- Randall Bart <wiki@randallbart.com> 02:54, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

It's Aeroperú. I have a copy of their late inflight magazine, which was called "Volando" (Issue no. 17, July-August 1997) and in regular text, the airline's name is spelled as such. Only in the logo is the name of the airline in lowercase. Therefore, I removed your "contradiction" tag and edited the name of the airline everywhere in the article (I hope.) Hope this helps! -- AirOdyssey (Talk) 00:35, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanx. Actually, you left one instance of "AeroPeru", which I fixed. And now I'm going to rename the page to include the accent. I hope I can figure out how rename works. -- Randall Bart <wiki@randallbart.com> 06:58, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Good call! -- AirOdyssey (Talk) 06:08, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
