Aerosvit-Ukrainian Airlines (Ukrainian: Авіакомпанія АероСвіт-Українські авіаланії, Aviakompaniya AeroSvit-Ukrayinki avialinii; Russian: Авиакомпания АэроСвит-Украинские авиалинии, Aviakompaniya AyeroSvit-Ukrainskie avialinii) is an airline based in Kiev, Ukraine. It operates scheduled services from Ukraine to 25 destinations in Russia, Poland, Serbia, Israel, Turkey, Bulgaria, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary,Canada the United States and other countries. It also operates some international charter flights and has a domestic network. Its main base is Boryspil State International Airport (KBP), Kiev.

The airline was established on 25 March 1994 and started operations in April 1994 with flights from Kiev to Tel Aviv, Odessa, Thessaloniki, Athens and Larnaca in co-operation with Air Ukraine. In October 1994 it started to dry-lease Boeing 737-200 aircraft as the network expanded to include flights to Moscow.

Aerosvit Airlines is owned by GenAviaInvest LTD.(Ukraine)(25%), Ukrinfoconsalting LTD. (9,8%), Buro LTD. (4,8%), Gilward Investments (Netherlands) (38%) and State Property Fund of the Ukraine (22,4%).

First passenger European Airline to use Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.

In December 1997 Aerosvit Flight 241 crashed near Thessaloniki, killing all 70 people aboard.^[1]
