Aero Airlines

Aero Airlines is an airline based in Tallinn, Estonia. It operates some of Finnair's domestic flights and from Helsinki to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Its main base is Tallinn Airport.

The airline was established in 2000 and started operations in March 2002. It was established by Finnair to operate within the Baltic region. It is owned by Aero Holding (51%) and Finnair (49%). The name harkens back to Finnair's first incarnation, Aero Oy, founded in 1923. Finnair retains Aero Oy's IATA designator AY, which the modern-day Aero flies as EE.

Aero Airlines operates services to the following scheduled international destinations (at August 2006): Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kajaani, Kittilä, Kokkola/Pietarsaari, Kuopio, Riga, Tallinn, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa and Vilnius.
