AeroTrain (KLIA)

Kuala Lumpur International Airport Automated People Mover or usually known as Aerotrain is a driverless people mover located within Kuala Lumpur International Airport. It began operations in 1998 transporting arriving and departing passengers between the Main Terminal Building and the Satelite Building A.It wiil then be extended to Low Cost Carrier Terminal in 2007 and others new terminal in future.It is similar to Hong Kong International Airport's Hong Kong International Airport Automated People Mover

The train, is fully diverless and acutomated.One example, when the train reaches platform, the exit doors will open first for passengers to disambark and only in a short while, the entrance door at the other side will be open.
Part of the train track goes into underground as it passes trough the taxiway above. It takes about 5 minutes to reach Satellite Terminal A from Main Terminal Building.

- Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd, had upgraded its aerotrain services at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) by installing two additional coaches worth RM22 million.[1]
- In November 2006, the Malaysian government announced that it had approved in principle the construction of a rail link between the Main Terminal Building and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2007.
