Adwick railway station is a railway station in Adwick-le-Street, near Doncaster in South Yorkshire, and serving the community living there and in the neighbouring village of Carcroft. It lies on the railway line linking Doncaster to Leeds via Wakefield. The current station is the second in Adwick and is situated on the opposide of the road serving from the original station, then named Carcroft & Adwick-le-Street station, of which the main building of which still stands.

Opened as Adwick-le-Street and Carcroft in March 1866 the name was reversed to Carcroft & Adwick-le-Street from the late 1870s. The station was built on the main line of the West Riding and Grimsby Railway between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate. It was situated between and served the villages of Carcroft and Adwick-le-Street whilst on the track it was between Doncaster and Hampole.
The main building, containing the booking office, waiting room and Station Masters house, was situated on the Doncaster-bound (up) platform and still stand. The building was constructed in rock-faced stone, with hipped roofs and a spire which was part of the living quarters. The Leeds-bound (down) platform was served by a small wooden, enclosed, waiting shelter.
The station was closed for goods traffic in June 1965 and for passengers in 1967.

Within reach of the A1 Junctions 37 and 38 and just off the A638, Adwick station provides a park and ride for Doncaster and a commuting station for Wakefield and Leeds. The station boasts ample free parking and an on-site ticket office.
Northern Rail run rail services to Leeds around every hour. Unlike Bentley railway station, Adwick possesses a footbridge and a road bridge allowing traffic and pedestrians to pass unhindered from parking to platform 2. People living in the northern end of Bentley have been known to use Adwick instead of their own station due to the better accessibility[citation needed].
