Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Pulp magazine do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Leebo T/C 13:03, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

The reason I removed the link that you added was because your username would indicate that the purpose of this account is to promote Adventure House. Usernames created for promotional reasons are disallowed by username policy. If this is, in fact, the purpose of this account, you may be better off creating a new account, because promotional names may be blocked from editing. Thank you for your attention to this concern. This text doesn't look like something that was created just now for Wikipedia. Was it copied from somewhere? If that's the cas, we can't accept copyrighted text. Leebo T/C 14:28, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

It's my copyright...since it's my book. I have no problem with the use of the text, since the book is actually a full color image book, and the text is a good outline of the man's career.

That's helpful that you would want to make your copyrighted material freely available. Unfortunately, a direct copy doesn't make for an appropriate article -- no article on Wikipedia should represent a copy of another source, even one that is free for use. I suggest rewriting it in new words and citing sources, such as the book, to bring it up to Wikipedia's standards. Leebo T/C 16:21, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
