Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia

Advocate Harbour is a community in Nova Scotia, Canada, located at 45.33N, 64.77W. Nova Scotia Route 209 serves as the main road to the community. Advocate has a well protected small craft harbour which empties at high tide. Fishing and tourism are the main industries. The scenic Cape d'Or Lighthouse and Cape Chignecto Provincial Park are popular local attractions. A very long rocky beach is popular for beachcombers for its massive amounts of driftwood. The community is featured on the Fundy Shore Ecotour.
