The Patria AMV 8x8 (Armoured Modular Vehicle) is a multi-role military vehicle produced by Finnish manufacturer Patria. The first prototype was produced in 2001 and first vehicles delivered to the Finnish Army in 2003. Serial production was started in 2004.

The main feature of the AMV is modular design allowing the incorporation of different weapon, sensor, or communications systems on the same carriage. Designs exist for different APC (Armoured personnel carrier) and IFV (Infantry fighting vehicle) versions, communications version, ambulance version and different fire support versions with large calibre mortar and gun systems.

The Polish Army has ordered 313 AMVs with the Italian Oto Melara 30 mm turret and 377 AMVs in various other configurations to be delivered between 2004 and 2013.

The Finnish Army has ordered 24 AMVs fitted with the AMOS mortar system and 64 AMVs fitted with PROTECTOR M151 Remote Weapon Station for M2 and Heckler & Koch GMG.

On June 12, 2006 Ministry of Defence of Republic Slovenia declared that Patria AMV will be the new 8x8 Armoured fighting vehicle of Slovenian Armed Forces (Patria will supply 135 vehicles, some with the NEMO grenade launcher).
