Advance Auto Parts (NYSE: AAP), headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, is the second-largest retailer of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the United States. AAP had 2004 sales of approx. $3.77B via more than 2,800 stores and with the work of some 41,000 employees.

In 2005, Advance Auto Parts purchased Autopart International, Inc. which operates 61 stores in Northeastern United States.

In 1998, it purchased the Western Auto chain of stores from Sears.
