I can't find Legendre's formula in the Englishpedia:

n! = \prod_{i=1}^{k} p_{i}^{ \sum_{j=1}^{\infin} \left[ \frac{n}{p_{i}^{j}} \right] }

please would you so kind to tell me how do you call this in English and if you had an article about this? Thanks: Gubbubu 20:09, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

>his work on roots of polynomials inspired Galois theory;

Does anyone know what he concretely did? I think that it confuses Lendre with Lagrange. --132nd 05:07, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
