Talk:Adrian FitzGerald
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dear MER-C, unfortunately you messed up by vandalising the original name of this article. Firstly, the surname is FitzGerald, with a capital "G". This family maintains the original tradition of the two conjoined words Fitz (son of ) and the patronymic Gerald. Your oversimplification is akin to turning O'Neill into "Oneill" - it contradicts the customary naming convention. Please revert it. Please also revert the title to include "24th Knight of Kerry". Seneschally
- Fixed by moving to "Adrian FitzGerald". Please avoid using loaded terms like "vandalism"; the distinction is subtle for those not familiar with it, and MER-C's move appears to have been made in good faith. Choess 02:04, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
