Adrian Scott Stokes

Adrian Scott Stokes (1854-1935) was an English landscape painter. Born in Southport, Lancashire he became a cotton broker in Liverpool, where his talent was noticed by John Herbert.
He married fellow artist Marianne Preindlesberger, better known as Marianne Stokes.
