Adrian Mariappa (born 3 October 1986) is an English central defender currently playing for Watford.

A former Academy side captain and reserve team regular, Mariappa made his first team debut in a League Cup match against Notts County on 23 August 2005. He made another cup start against Wigan Athletic in the 3rd round. During the 2005/2006 season he made three league appearances, including a clean-sheet in his first league start against Hull City on the final day of the 2005-2006 Championship season.

Mariappa will look to provide backup for the more experienced members of the squad during the 2006-2007 Premiership campaign for Watford. Boothroyd underligned Mariappa's significance in his squad by naming him in the starting line-up for their opening fixture with Everton in the absence of Jay Demerit. Adrian has starred in the reserve squad this season, scoring impressive penalties while anchoring the midfield.
