Originally from Haverhill, Suffolk, UK, Adrian Holder was the charismatic singer, songwriter and guitarist of cult indie mod band The Moment.

Noted for his anthemic power pop tunes, wild guitar style and his passionate live performances, Holder was the focal point of the band. The Moment achieved a degree of underground notoriety through one memorable album, The Work Gets Done, and a series of singles, including "In This Town", "One, Two They Fly" and "Ready To Fall". In the sleeve note to 'Mod Gods: The Best Of The Moment', released by Tangerine Records, music journalist Paul Moody of the New Musical Express described the band as "English pop music's greatest ever secret".

In 2006 he released his first recording since The Moment: his song 'Goodbye Tuesday appeared on the Biff Bang Pow Records compilation album, 'Shimmy'.

He lives in Dusseldorf, Germany, where The Moment enjoyed many successful tours.
