[edit] Career (1999-2005)
Cortez started his career in 1999 in various independent promotions in the west coast of Puerto Rico. He entered IWA in 2000 starting out at the lower card wrestling then up-and coming workers like Stefano, Paparazzi, Eric Alexander, Chicano among others. Also won the Hardcore, Junior Heavyweight & held 1/2 of the Tag Team titles with Lightning. In 2002 had Super Mark as his part-time partner. He was a babyface until August 2003 when he got frustrated at the referees so he became a referee himself a gimmick that lasted over a year until a returning GM Savio Vega fired him as referee in November 2004. Was the partner to Lightning when his regular partner Thunder got injured and held the titles until Noregia & Golden Boy beat them for the belts on February 26, 2005 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Briefly joined Stefano & Blitz in the stable The Misfits until Cortez left IWA.
[edit] NWS/WWC Career (2005-2006)
Anarchy debuted in the NWS on April 3, 2005 in his hometown of Rincon, PR as a surprise to the fans. He was under a mask as the Ninja and let El Profe pinned him to fool both El Nene & "Sultan" Jose Luis Rivera. Feuded with his old teammate Stefano, Erick Scorpion & Maniac during the rest of his stay in the NWS. Cortez shaved his head and took the name of TNT and debuted at WWC Anniversary under this gimmick vs Abdullah The Butcher ,returned to NWS as TNT and feuded with Black Pain and El Profe. His Feud with Profe nearly became a shoot at one event as Profe & Cortez started fighting for real and the referee declared the match a no-contest. Returned wrestling under his previous gimmick name Anarchy on April 2, 2006 in a match with him as referee of the match of Glamour Boy Shane vs Hurucan Castillo as he didn't do the 3 count as Shane had Castillo pinned and turned on him and unmasking and help Castillo attack Shane. Took a few months off and returned to NWS on July 16, 2006 as a member of the HP as a referee during "Superstar" Ash Rubinsky's match vs a jobber. Resumed his team with Stefano in their feud vs William De La Vega. Stood in the company until being cut due to "Unprofessional Conduct".
[edit] IWA Return (2006-)
Cortez made his surprise return at IWA Christmas in Puerto Rico 2006 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico in aiding Super Mark after his match vs Mr. Big while both Blitz & Mr. Big attacking Mark and expected a thank you. Mark got upset at Anarchy for helping him because he is a Lone Wolf. Returned to his previous gimmick as the heel referee when he DQ'ed Spectro due to Carlito & Hiram Tua interfering in his match vs Mikel Judas.
