[edit] Stay awhile

What a coincidence that you should write this article just as I start a project using the product in question! Will wonders never cease. I've improved the article a bit, adding images from your press kit and formatting to follow our style. I'd take a photo of my current project but that's covered by NDA so, no.

What I don't understand is why you didn't put in decent photos to begin with. You don't need to play Mr. Mysterious with your viral marketing super-stealth edit to Wikipedia. A corporation often is the best available source for information about itself. You can't pretend to be unbiased but then, we'll dig up the dirt and add that, too. No need to worry -- either way.

If you're not just a flack for Lumileds but have other clients, feel free to edit articles on those, too. We do ask that you follow our extensive policies regarding articles -- but if you don't, we'll fix it. I suggest that you edit your own user page, declare yourself openly, and as you upload images, simply add licensing information. If you represent a company and assert a license, nobody is going to challenge you. Meanwhile, I've simply asserted Fair use for images from your press kit.

Don't know when or if you'll return but if you do, please drop by my talk page and let me know how I can help you adjust to Wikipedia. Thank you. John Reid 05:52, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
