Adjumani District

Adjumani is a district in northern Uganda. Like other Ugandan districts, it is named after its 'chief town', Adjumani. The district lies on the southern bank of the White Nile, just before it flows into Sudan. The present second deputy prime minister and minister of disaster preparedness, Hon. Brig. Moses Ali comes from the district. The LC V chairman is Owole Nixon, the former headmaster of Metu secondary school in Moyo District.
