[edit] About me
Never ever underestimate a missing monkey. They helped Charles Darwin to find your ancestor. If they didn't, you would have been identified as a descendant of trolls by now. They helped medical researchers to come up with viagra, the most wonderful recreational drug ever. Cheers! They also asked Osama bin Laden to shut up, which he promptly did. They rule the wonderful country of Abkhazia. If you don't know where that is, don't worry, check out the glorious nation of Kazakhstan. Besides, they have a full articles on the glorious project of Uncyclopedia - The Missing Monkey - complete with sugar, spice and everything nice, as well as links to other monkeys. And, they know where to look for the Cabal.
Missing monkeys are also friends with all those strange Wikidemons - Wackos, Angry Mastodons, Headless Chickens, Wet Trouts, Bots, Tolls, Gnomes, Faeries, Doppelgangers, Vandals, Gremlins, Tans, Mascots, Tigers, Fanatics, Dicks and Sock Puppets.
Besides, they are very adept at defending all forms of Chinese martial arts - Eagle Claw (鷹爪派), Butterfly Sword (蝴蝶雙刀), Jeet Kune Do (截拳道), Lau Gar (劉家), Five Animals (五形), Silk reeling (纏絲功) or any form of Monkey Kung Fu (isn't that obvious?). They keep fit to fight, and are free of all WikiDiseases - Academic Standards Disease, Wikinoia, Wikistress, Redlinkphobia, Link madness, Substub disease or Edit counting.

[edit] Be aware of the nice people
If you are new here (like I was when the Wikipediasaur was about to evolve into Wikipediatheriam) you probably would like to check the starters' guides.
Do that before the Welcoming Committee get to you, or someone tries adopt you. Surely you don't need that kindness campaign.
When you have gone through that WP101 stuff, you can go on to the next level. If you still feel more reading is necessary, either go to the serious stuff or the complete crap.
You may also contemplate the man who started it all - Jimmy Wales (also known as User:Jimbo Wales). Or, may be it is his close associate Larry Sanger (also known as User:Larry Sanger) you would prefer to know about.
Well, I am sure you have written your first article long before you've gone through this blitz of crap, and got it passed through the drawing board without anyone biting you.
Congratulations.
And, please, be careful with that user page.
For a newbie you must be 1200 times smarter than I am. How did manage to come this far into my labyrinthine userpage? WOW!!!
May be, you're the right person to check out the Essjay controversy. Now, would you?

This wonderful project of Wikimedia Foundation, hosted by Wikia and running on MediaWiki softwares, is truly the greatest of all Wikis and a crowning glory of Web 2.0. But, it doesn't come easy. There are discrepancies, conflicting philosophies, contradictory evidence, confusing precedence, sneaky vandalism and... you get the point. It is interesting to find, though, the admins at odds. Few things are easily agreed upon, fewer things are unanimously agreed upon.
Well, eventually everything works out some time or other. It is nice to see democracy working and in good condition (know also, Wikipedia is not a democracy, as we understand it, no way). Yes, it doesn't necessarily has to degenerate into an oligarchy or total anarchy, it grows healthier by the years. I wish I could make myself more useful to this gargantuan project, and a more humongous concept. Lovely.
The policy pages are still too labyrinthine for me, but practice and help from others are taking me through my steps fine. The image copyright policies are a particular area of pain. I do not belive in good articles that do not have an image. But, I guess, it will take me 28 lifetimes to learn all the nuances.
A featured article? An administratorship? More barnstars? May be some day. When I have more time, patience and whatever else is necessary.

[edit] My Intrests
-
The areas that really interest me are mostly about Bangladesh, particularly History, Geography, Dhaka City, the War of Liberation, and the minority population).
I also have an interest in the areas of Religion in Bangladesh (especially Christianity), Spirituality, and Pornography.
I'd also like to declare myself as an self appointed guardian angel of Category:Education in Bangladesh. Now that I have started WikiProject History of Bangladesh, I am really hoping for something good to come out.
TODO: Work on Category:Bangladesh geography stubs, Religious persecution, Architecture of Bengal and Education in Bangladesh; collect and upload free or permitted images of Bangladeshi showbiz personlaities and the Liberation War; add Bangla script to Tripuri people articles (before that, get my machine to show indic text, long overdue); add annotation to The Art of War
Note: Never forget Portal:Education or Wikipedia:WikiProject Education; learn more about the Community
