From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am a UCL philosophy graduate with 15 years' experience writing, editing and contributing to non-fiction media - books, encyclopaedias, newspapers, periodicals, on-line, third sector and corporate materials. My particular interests include:
- Philosophy of Mind and related disciplines
- Scientific method
- Marxism
- Modern history
I began contributing to Wikipedia at the beginning of 04 with an article on Henryk Grossmann, and branched out into edits and re-writes of several articles pertaining to Marxist theory. From there my contributions are becoming more wide-ranging. Other articles I'm interested in at the moment:
- Emergence
- Conspiracy theory
- Supply and demand
- Obesity
- Animal rights
- Ivan Bloch
- Karl Korsch
- Armistice with Germany (Compiègne)
Reviewing my edit history, it's apparent I've been drawn relentlessly towards the "frontline" articles - the ones which tend to attract passionately defended and correspondingly poorly supported contributions, ie, the ones which seem to me most likely to bring the wiki project into disrepute. I don't know if this is the most valuable use I can make of the little time I get here, but it's been educational. I'm reviewing that strategy now! Adhib 11:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
