Adhapara is a small village in the district of Jharduguda in Orissa, India. It is about 35 km from Jharsuguda. A very good road system goes through this villlage. Reaching the village is not difficult, as there is transportation available all the time. Buses run almost every 10 minutes from Jharsuguda to Ib Thermal, which is a kilometer away from Adhapara. The language spoken in Adhapara is Sambalpuri. It comes under the block of lakhanpur and its grampanchayat is kusuraloi. But the gp office is situated in adhapara. The ib-thermal power station is abut one and half kilometer from this village. Many people from this village work there. Sometimes it help the village in its development work. The village is having good schools for its study purpose. There is 'up school Adhapara', 'me school Adhapara' and 'jawahrlal high school ,adhapara'in this village.
