Psychologically? That doesn't make sense! Emporer

Well, be bold and fix it then :-) --Pak21 08:58, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What came first?

On the Imperial Fists page it states they served as the pretorian guard to the emperor until the creation of the Custodian Guard and yet on this page it says the Custodian Guard where the first super soldiers the emperor created? Lowris 17:29, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

Well, both? Niether? This wouldn't be the first time that GW sources contradicted each other, after all. Another example of that would be that the Imperial Fists homeworld is listed as Terra in the Space Marines page and Codex, and yet the Black Library novels and the Daemonhunters Codex tell us that the only Space Marines in the Terran system (other than the handful of Wolfblades guarding Navigator House Belisarius) are the Grey Knights. -user:manuelomar2001 8:37pm 3-29-2006

[edit] Custodian Guard?

"Custodian Guard" is total nonsense, it literally would mean "Guarding Guard", since Custodes is the ltin word for Guards (just as in the famous quote: "Quis Custodiet Ipsos Custodes?" Who guards the Guards?)... This might be the canon translation für the Adeptus Custodes (and I'm quite certain bad latin doesn't bother the designers at all, just like bad german does for WHF), but its just a hideous translation. Now I'm just an occasional Wikipdia contributor and no WH 40k expert - thats why I don't make an edit by myself and rather want to leave it to your guys: Wouldn't a small note at the end of the topic be nice, pointing this out - just for the sake of education and so the spirit of good ol' Juvenal might rest peacefully? ;-) Count Uebles 14:11, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

The best solution in my opinion would just be to move the page to Adeptus Custodes, and remove all mention of "Custodian Guard" as I don't think that is ever actually used by GW. However, I can't do that as that's a redirect (which currently points here) with an edit history, so it'll have to be requested at WP:RM, which I'll do. Cheers --Pak21 08:13, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
