Adam Moyer

Originally from Northern Virginia, Adam Moyer is an artist based in La Jolla, California, USA.
Moyer is a trained printmaker and bookbinder, although his work has branched off to include highly conceptual projects and intricate collage. Moyer is perhaps best known for a 2004 letter-writing project in which he wrote a letter to every state governor requesting permission to parachute over each state capitol building. Responses were mixed.
In the Fall of 2006, Moyer started The Magnum P.I.s, an art/rock band that plays covers of television theme songs. On January 1, 2007, The Magnum P.I.s announced their first major west coast tour, scheduled for June and July, 2007.
Moyer graduated, with Highest Distinction, from the University of Virginia (B.A., Studio Art), in 2004. He is the founder / owner of Knockaround Sunglasses, a San Diego-based sunglasses company.
