"Adam's Apple" is a song by American rock band Aerosmith. It was written by Steven Tyler and released on the band's 1975 album, Toys in the Attic.

[edit] Lyrical Interpretation

This song is Steven Tyler's retelling of the biblical story of the Garden of Eden. It starts by the creation of the Garden of Eden and Adam and Eve. They were told not to eat the forbidden fruit ("Conscience was related").

Inevitably, the serpent starts trying to make Eve eat the fruit. According to the song, Eve tried to ignore him and she "stopped turned and tried to walk away." She eventually ate the fruit and the story comes to a conclusion.

The rest of the song tries to show Eve's innocence by saying that ("who knows who's to blamin'") and that Eve was just trying to quench her curiosity ("...and all she want and need was just a little taste...").
