From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ActiveX is a series of high-level, Internet/Intranet technologies Microsoft introduced in late 1990s. The term ActiveX itself is seldom used today, and many of the technologies were rendered defunct or renamed, but some are still in wide use.
