Punchline's first full-length album on Fueled by Ramen Records has notably hopeful and positive lyrics compared to bands with a similar fanbase, in the vein of pop punk and so-called 'emo' of the late 1990's and early 2000's. Steve Soboslai (guitar), Paul Menotiades (guitar), and Chris Fafalios (bass) split vocals on the album, most going to Steve, Paul, and Chris repectively. While PJ Caruso (drums) does not sing on the album, the rhythm section is a major driving force of the majority of songs on "Action."
