Aconitum carmichaelii, called Fu Zi in Chinese, is a medicinal herb. The root is most commonly used. It is used to improve circulation, restore yang and expell cold. It is sometimes used topically in Dit Da Jow liniment. If not prepared properly by a trained Chinese herbalist, it is deadly when taken internally.
