Achmad Yani International Airport (IATA: SRG, ICAO: WARS) serves Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. It became international airport by the first international flight of Garuda Indonesia to Singapore in March 2004.

Central Java Government has planned to expand the airport in 2004. The project started in 2005 and will be finished in 2008. When this project is completed, Achmad Yani International Airport will have upgraded its facilities.
1. Longer runway. The airport will have 2,850 m runway which is capable to handle Boeing 777, Boeing 747, MD-11, Airbus A340 and Airbus A330.
2. New and bigger terminal. The airport will have a new terminal which is located in the north of the old terminal. It is 21,500 metre square wide and able to accommodate 2 medium jets and 8 small jets.
