Acharya Shree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj (b. July 1966) is the current Acharya of the LaxmiNarayan Dev Gadi of Swaminarayan Sampraday (30 January 2003–present) and the 9th Spiritual Successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the South Diocese (Vadtal LaxmiNarayan Dev Gadi)
According to the followers of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, the life of Acharya RakeshPrasadji has been simple, fair and chaste in every respect, and he takes deep interest in Sanskrit and Prakrit literature on religion. Even in the discomforts he has established temples and consecrated idols in them. As desired by Shri Hari he has given Diksha to more than 100 saints. Having meritorious qualities of asceticism and self-control Acharya RakeshPrasadji possesses, sharp memory and power of eloquence with lucid sermonic style. His delivery of speech is gentle, profound and enchanting. He has gained confidence and the trust of all the saints in such wonderful way that the saintly and the worldly people feel spiritual bliss to have his Darshan.
