The Achariaceae is a family of flowering plants, consisting of 6 species in 3 genera of herb and shrubs. The family is endemic to southern Africa.
Even if the family is generally classified in the order Malpighiales, embryological data show similarities with the Cucurbitales and the Brassicales.
