[edit] Unspecified source for Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 04:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:DCAU_batsuits.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 19:22, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] very nice compromise.
Great job on the Heroes article! I like that creative, and accurate, compromise with the symbol/mark. dposse 13:58, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism?
You left a message about vandalism in the 'list of superheroines', be more specific. I meant to add Shi , not vandalism.

[edit] Napier
Hi, just noticed you reverted my edits at Jack Napier (porn star). Can you specify the problem with them? Thank you. Thedreamdied 19:59, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- That makes sense. The article seems to be too short for a rewrite now so i shall leave it. Thedreamdied 20:13, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Retarded
Kudos on the revert revert, that is a very mature way of going about things. I have no issue with the word, but i know that it offends others. WookMuff 05:31, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your revert of my revision to Wikipedia talk:Vandalism
Hi there. I have restored my edits to the page header because having the header simply say "see Wikipedia:Vandalism for more information" doesn't offer much help to a newbie looking to report vandalism. Please do not revert my or anyone else's edits without offering an explanation as to why the edits were unhelpful. ("I'm starting to agree with Johnny" doesn't qualify as an explanation.) Cheers.--Azer Red Si? 22:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

- LOL, gotcha. You're probably right. Bignole 20:54, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Can you take a look at the Plot section at Spider-Man and see if there's anything that needs to be cleared up? Your insight would be appreciated. Thanks! —Erik (talk • contrib) - 00:43, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Claude
The reason I specified Claude is that his most recent visions included seeing Claude taking the money from the wallets of patrons at the restaurant, an event that Peter later bears witness to, which is long before the explosion event. I do not understand the removal, moreso due to the lack of a specified reason. –– Lid(Talk) 20:37, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] ted.
Sorry, Ace. Perhaps i should have used a better template. I saw some grammar and spelling issues. At the moment, i can't take care of them because i'm not at my home computer. I will cleanup the article after i get home, ok? That'll be about a hour from now. dposse 18:57, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Heroes
Ace, the template refers (primarily) to the tagged articles. Heroes (TV series) is referred to as an article, not a page, whereas the associated discussion area is a "page". (Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but then - what's the point of changing the template to "page"?) --Ckatzchatspy 23:30, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Heroes Revert
My revert of ThuranX's comment was not inappropriate as he is going crazy over slightly off-topic things so I decided to show him where he's doing the same thing. It is a double standard and it needs to be addressed. Mcflytrap 18:42, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Ace, Just ignore this guy. He's on a WP:POINT Tantrum. I intend to let him hoist himself on his own keyboard. let him go nuts, then i'll AN/I him with the diffs, as all attempts to warn and explain to him are met with active hostility. ThuranX 00:09, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Heroes Reverts
Why are you reverting my attempts to link references to Primatech Paper Company? --Measure 22:58, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Macintosh HD etc...
First of all, a photobucket account is not a decent source for such an image. Second, you did not have to do a full revert on me at Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. I am in the process of either finding an alternate image such as a composite of the TV Tokyo front page for GX or a better version of the logo (also, I'm dealing with Bobabobabo vandalism at the other image, which also has a bad source).—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:25, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User talk:Mcflytrap
Please don't get into a revert war on this users talk page. All messages are still in the history. If he wants to blank his page why stop him? Nothing is lost, and a blanking is proof that he has seen the message. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 00:05, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Zach and his "coming out of the closet"
Hey, Ace. I'm taking a bit of a risk here, huh? Would it be the understatement of the decade if i said that we rarely see eye to eye? haha. ^_^
Anyway, there's a bit of an issue over Zach and NBCs supposed change of heart over his sexuality. A user put a reference that is very blog-like with alot of implications that NBC/the writers got cold feet over his sexuality, but no real evidence and i just don't agree with it. So, i would respectfully ask for your opinion, since you created that new wikiproject.
thanks, Ace. dposse 01:29, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Template HS1
Ace, I've restored your comments on the template talk page, and used "strike out" to indicate that you've retracted them. Ordinarily, it wouldn't be an issue if you rework your comment. However, in cases where subsequent comments from other editors refer to them, the suggested action is to "remove" them with the strikeout markup. Thanks. --Ckatzchatspy 19:55, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] re: P Petrelli rv.
Huh? It does show the people around them jumping back in at least confusion as the fight knocks things around. I am really confused by this rv. WookMuff 20:45, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- The user seemed to dramaticize it a biit too much. Feel free to write up something more encyclopedic. Still, it's not really relavent. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 20:48, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WP:Heroes userbox image
Howdy Ace! I tried for my hand at using images with Wikipedia for the first time today by integrating an eclipse into the WikiProject Heroes userbox. The result is at my sandbox. Do you think it's a good or bad image? - fmmarianicolon | Talk 00:01, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dick in a Box reversion
Hey, I was wondering why you reverted Crumbsucker's edits to Dick in a Box -- what s/he added was completely legit and cited. I believe I was the one to remove the same material earlier on when it was uncited, but the MTV news article that Crumbsucker provided works perfectly fine to support it. Dylan 17:53, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Haitian
The change I made regarding the Haitian's alliances are based purely on opinion. Furthermore, he disobeyed Mr. Bennet in favor of Clair as to not erase her memories. That in itself should be proof enough that his alliance to her, if only because of her powers, is stronger than that of his alliance to Mr. Bennet. Please take proper thought before reporting users of vandalism next time. Thank you. Stone11375 13:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I'm appearnetly not the first to complain of being falsely accused of vandalism. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stone11375 (talk • contribs) on 13:50, January 29, 2007 (UTC); Please sign your posts!
[edit] Re: Re: the Haitian
At this point, our argument is null, as you can see on the current version of The Haitian, but if you would indulge me this one last question. Going behind one's back for another, in your personal opinion as another fan of the show Heroes, does that or does it not constitute that your alliance for the latter is stronger than that of the former? If you would prefer not to indulge me, then please ignore, or if you would prefer, delete this post. Thank you again.
P.S. Hey, at least we agree on the topic of Zach sexuality (Talk:Homecoming (Heroes)).Stone11375 19:12, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning restoration
Please don't revert warnings back onto a user's page after they have removed them. This is considered a form of harassment and strongly discouraged. Even if the warnings are valid, once the person has seen them they have fulfilled their purpose. Re-instating them after that is a misuse of the talk page, edit warring, and needlessly inflammatory. --CBD 11:22, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WP:Heroes page redesign idea
Hope your weekend has been going well! After our previous talk about creating more images and such for the Heroes WikiProject, I put together a possible redesign of the project page at my sandbox. I got inspiration from several WikiProjects (mainly Art, Biography, and Blogging). The table for the templates isn't working out exactly as I had hoped, so I may take out the middle column of that table, then move the about and guideline sections to the top of the right section to make up lost room. Overall though, what are your thoughts? How can it be improved? Should it be used at all? - fmmarianicolon | Talk 07:00, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Sandpunch.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Sandpunch.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] they are all gone!
ACS, all the episode pictures have been deleted! You have to do something about this. We need those pictures back. Is there anything that we can do? Those morons deleted them even though we had a rationale! dposse 13:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cassandra Cain
You've spent more time on Wiki, editing, than I. The following changes from the CassCain article: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cassandra_Cain&diff=106498498&oldid=106498385 Sorta suck. A lot. That paragraph about the Supergirl thing, as well as some of the synopsis on OYL. I'm not sure, however, how to fix it, or condense it. At this point it better belongs in its own article, or in an article about OYL, since it's so large. But Wikipedia is not an Issue-Recap site, so... Thoughts on anything with more brevity?AltonBrownFTW 19:47, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've done what I can. Wait for the arc to complete, then condense as necessary. Not every detail is vital, but certain elements should be considered relevant until proven otherwise. Overall, it's not in horrible shape, referring to the version I last saw. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 21:14, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My edits
I am truly sorry for the mistaken edit. I should have taken more time to go over and fix it. However, I have been very active lately, especially with the wikidefcon level 2 that is posted. It is no excuse for negligence, but I would like to show, perhaps, the reason for the mistake, so as to clear up my intentions. Thank you for clearing up the error. --.ιΙ Inhuman14 Ιι.( talk | contrib) 21:23, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Dragonball Wiki
- Hi there. I noticed you're fan of the Dragon Ball series, and I'm trying to recruit some fans from here to contribute to the Dragon Ball Wiki. It's in terrible shape right now with pretty much no consistency or policies, and only this week have I been able to get Angela and Sannse to create some Forums for us over there. I've got a proposed Manual of Style going over there and would like some people to contribute to that to set up some policies and start making the wiki bigger, better, and more intelligible/consistent. If you're interested, please hop on over or talk to me. Thanks for the time, whether you're interested or not. Wildyoda 08:38, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Heroes_Sylar2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Heroes_Sylar2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
