Aceh Besar

Aceh Besar is a regency (kabupaten) of Aceh, Indonesia. Jantho is the seat of the regency.

On December 26, 2004, the regency was affected by the Indian Ocean earthquake.

The regency is divided into 22 subdistricts (kecamatan).
