[edit] Transclusion

Is this template intended to be transcluded? I'll rig it up so that that works, if that's the intention, but as it is now I'm not entirely sure what it's to be used for. Snoutwood (talk) 22:33, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

I just intended it as a guide template; it would be subst:'d in, and then filled in, rather than using complex parameters. It could be done just as easily with a guide page using
tags, like this:

*Registered to:
*[http://www.samspade.org/t/lookat?a= WHOIS report]
*Contact information:

Either is fine with me. Essjay (TalkConnect) 23:08, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

I was just about to convert it to be transcludable when I realized that I didn't have a nifty way to deal with the contact info. Since it'll be several lines and I couldn't think of a way to make it break properly without having unnecessarily long template syntax, I reckon it may as well stay where it is. There's nothing much wrong with subst-'n'-fill, I guess. Snoutwood (talk) 00:33, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
