Abura-akago (油赤子, "oil baby") is a spirit from Japanese folklore. It appears as a fireball which floats into a house, takes the form of an infant long enough to lick the oil out of an andon lamp, and flies away again. It was illustrated in the second volume of Toriyama Sekien's Konjaku Gazu Zoku Hyakki.
