Abtin

Abtin (Abteen) (Persian: آبتين) is a character in Shahnama (national epic of Iran), Fereydun's father. His name means "The one with the good thoughts, good talks, good deeds" (see Zoroastrian). Abteen is also synonymous with sphinx.
