[edit] Cooper's love was horses

Surfing various web sites indicates that the Crib & Rosa painting was painted by Samuel Raven in 1816, not 1817. Raven was a follower of Abraham Cooper. The 1817 is the date of John Scott's engraving that popularized the Crib & Rosa image. Cooper's real love and the subject of the bulk of his work was horses. Perhaps we can locate a representation of on of his paintings such as is visible here. When and if I can find reputable sources for the above, I'll incorporate the facts into the article.
