Philip Leget Edwards

First school teacher in Oregon, came from Richmond, Missouri at age 23. Born in KY. After Indian Manual Labor school closed returned to MO and studied law, got married, and then in 1850 moved to California, (Nevada County). Died May 1869^[1]
