Abid Ali Kazi

Abid Ali Kazi is a cricket statistician and historian based in Pakistan.

Abid Ali Kazi's major contribution to cricket is compiling the history of Pakistan cricket and the scorecards of the first class matches, which remained largely undocumented till the 1990s. Kazi's efforts appear as five volumes in the series First class cricket in Pakistan which cover the period 1947-48 to 1974-75.

Kazi was awarded the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians (ACS) Statistician of the year award for the 2004 for his work on the first class matches in Pakistan'. He is a founder member of the Pakistan Association of Cricket Statisticians and Scorers and Pakistan correspondent of the Wisden Cricketers Almanack. He also contributed to the 'Pakistan Book of Test Cricket' in 1982.
