Abercych
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Abercych is a small village in the north of the county of Pembrokeshire in Wales. It is an ancient village, the name of which means 'the mouth of the Cych'. It is on one the side of the valley of the river Cych, which is said to be a portal to the world of the fairies in the ancient pre-medieval epic Welsh story of the Mabinogion. The Cych ends just outside of the village where it joins the larger river Teifi which eventually empties into the sea at the town of Cardigan a few miles away.
