abdul ghaffar is a common name in afghanistan, or pashtunwali, if guantanamo contained two (or three) guys with that name. there is no reason to assume the battalion commander is a former guantanamo captive...
i created an article about the battalion commander.
i don't think this article should be merged with any of the others.
