Abdul Salaam (born Larry Faulk) was a defensive tackle with the New York Jets American Football team in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Along with fellow interior lineman Marty Lyons, and defensive ends Joe Klecko and Mark Gastineau, he was part of The New York Sack Exchange, the Jets' feared defensive front-four that terrorised the National Football League in 1981 and 1982.
