[edit] Caucasian not an accurate term for white people
Caucasian is an innacurate and out-of-date term to describe white people — and it is almost only used in the United States. The correct usage of the word Caucasian is only for Peoples of the Caucasus — who either live in the Caucasus region or speak the languages of the Caucasus. The correct term to use in articles such as this is white people (or in the case of specific countries, White American, White British, White Australian etc). That is not "informal language." Please do not revert the article to have an innaccurate and non-universal term.Spylab 10:34, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
