Aaron Sowd

Aaron Sowd is a veteran storyteller and artist in the comic book, animation and film industries. He was the award-winning art director of Stan Lee Media, designing and supervising the look of many of Stan Lee's Flash animated "webisodes" including The 7th Portal, The Accuser, The Backstreet Project and The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse. Aaron has also created storyboards for Michael Bay's Transformers (2007 film), Freddy vs. Jason, Austin Powers in Goldmember, Latrelle's House Party and Bow Wow music videos and many commercials. As a conceptual designer, Aaron provided designs for Steven Soderbergh and James Cameron's Solaris (2002 film), as well as Human Nature (film) and Virus (1999 film).
In animation, Aaron has worked on Evolution and the style guides for Titan A.E. and Anastasia (1997 film) for 20th Century Fox Animation. Aaron's comic book credits include: 9-11: September 11, 2001 (Stories to Remember, Volume 2),[1] Batman, Harley Quinn, X-Men, JLA, Spawn/Witchblade, and The Flash. Aaron's work has appeared in The New York Times, People Magazine, Time Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Playboy, Gear and PlayStation Magazine.
Published works include Tooth Fitness with Thomas McGuire and MasterMinds with James Denning and Lance Karutz which appeared inKomikwerks Vol. 1 and Hero Happy Hour Super Special #1.
