Aaron L. Mackler

Aaron L. Mackler is a Conservative rabbi, a professor of theology at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, author, and a bio-ethicist.

Mackler is an expert in the philosophy of Conservative Judaism and in Bioethics. He graduated from Yale University in 1980. Mackler was ordained as a rabbi from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He earned a Ph.D in philosophy from Georgetown University.

Mackler is a member of the Rabbinical Assembly's Committee on Jewish Law and Standards and has written many responsa.
