Aajkaal is one of the leading Bengali newspapers in Kolkata, India. The newspaper arose from the transformation of the newspapers industry in the 1980s and was started in 1981 by Abhik Kumar Ghosh. The newspaper is well known for its comprehensive sports news.

Aajkaal struggles to survive in a very competitive newspaper market in West Bengal.
