After the events of The Wizard's Dilemma Nita is depressed. Kit is asked by Tom and Carl to help find Darryl McAllister, an autistic kid on his Ordeal - for the past three months. Nita, who finds Kit with help from her strange dreams, helps to defeat the Lone Power with Darryl, Kit, and Ponch. In the end, they defeat It and lock Darryl's autism away with It.
