Does anyone know the name of the music that plays at the end episode (the instrumental, not the song), ie, when Foxxy is being wheeled out of the house?

Should the shark in the Barroom Brawl really be related to "jumping the shark"? I thought it was a referance to Toot's fatness, or something. Jumping the Shark seems a little mean to me... 65.96.98.74 05:15, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- It's a common perception that shows which do "very special episodes" jump the shark (the Wikipedia page on jumping the shark has a lot of info on that), and Drawn Together is just making a joke to that effect. I was the one who added the note about jumping the shark, and I was just pointing out the joke, not accusing the show itself of jumping the shark. - It's not impossible, but I didn't see anything connecting the scene with the Landshark other than the fact it was a shark. The shark here was obviously swimming; I presume if it was a reference to the Landshark, it would have been walking or standing upright.Raymondluxuryacht 09:07, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

it looks to be a reference to Very Bad Things with a few twists. instead of being impaled on a hook, ling-ling falls through a table like leeland orser does on his drug-induced high. any concurs? Lordraydens 08:51, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- The only problem with that is that Ling-Ling didn't fall through the table. He was already underneath the table; Xandir broke the table when he sat on it, and Ling-Ling was stabbed by a shard of the broken glass. I'll admit, I actually thought of Very Bad Things when I watched it, but it's probably just coincidence. after clara sucks on toots thumb, toot says she has something 'almost as big'. as the truck is driving off, it looks like clara is about to perform oral sex on toot. could be a stretch, but it sounds like another reference to toots implied hermaphrodism.
an even more probable stretch is the reference to timmys location. im reminded of sean connerys last words to nicholas cage in 'the rock' about the location of some microfilm. any concurs on either of these? -Lordraydens 08:20, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
The Toot one is possible. It does look like she is about to perform oral sex on Toot. Since we can't see exactly what she's doing, and since we don't even come close to seeing exactly what she might be about to perform her acts on, we can't really assume anything. Toot implies in her dialogue that she has a penis, but since she's role-playing as a man, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Maybe when the DVD comes out and we see the scene uncensored, we'll know more.
I don't think the thing about Timmy's location is a reference to any particular movie. It's just referencing the movie cliche where someone dies, and in their last words, tells the hero to finish some important task for them.Raymondluxuryacht 08:36, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
When I saw the Toot scene, I thought she was talking about the clit... I wouldn't know personally, but I imagin at max leangth, it would be roughly the size of a thumb. 64.12.116.197
- She very well could have been. My interpretation of the scene is that she was role-playing as a man, and in that character was just making a generic penis-related innuendo, like sleazy guys in movies tend to do.Raymondluxuryacht 05:31, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

The entire story seems to be based on something; not sure if it's based entirely on 'running away' clichés or a specific source. The Black Books episode "He's Leaving Home" appears to draw on the same basic storyline.--Jeffro77 06:23, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- It was partially based on a 70's TV movie called "Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway", but with lots of other elements as well.
