A Treatise on Electricity and Magnetism is an 1873 textbook on electromagnetism written by James Clerk Maxwell.

These equations are compiled to two sets.

The first set is

\mathbf{E} = - \nabla \phi - \frac{\partial \mathbf{A}}{\partial t}
\mathbf{B} =  \nabla \times \mathbf{A}

The second set is

\nabla \cdot \mathbf{D} = \rho
\nabla \times \mathbf{H} - \frac{\partial \mathbf{D}}{\partial t} = \mathbf{J}
