A Town Called Panic

A Town Called Panic (in French, Panique au Village) is a 2003 stop motion animated series distributed by Aardman Animations and produced in Belgium by Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier for La Parti & Pic Pic André. It follows the everyday events of Cowboy, Indian and Horse in a small rural town as they go about their lives. Each episode is roughly 5 minutes long and is crudely animated; some stations broadcast several episodes in a 15 or 30-minute block.

A Town Called Panic is seen worldwide on channels such as ABC TV in Australia, Nicktoons Network in the United States, and Teletoon in Canada.

  • Horse is the level-headed and sometimes temperamental 'leader' of the pack. He is forever keeping Cowboy and Indian in line, as well as cleaning up mistakes made by either two. He is an accomplished cook and enjoys keeping a clean house
  • Cowboy is your 'average' cowboy who dresses in blue. He along with Indian, enjoy disobeying Horse's rules, which leads to trouble. He also likes to hunt, and often brandishes a carbine.
  • Indian is a stereotypical native American. He enjoys painting and shooting with his bow and arrow and causing mischief in the house. He's the more level-headed one between he and Cowboy.
